The Orland Park Self-Help Group is dedicated to assisting persons with multiple sclerosis, their families and their friends, and to provide the knowledge and support for group members to successfully live with MS and remain vital participants in their communities.

None of us want MS, but since MS has entered our lives, we at the Orland Park MS Self-Help Group are committed to leading our lives as graciously and productively as humanly possible. Please contact us if you wish to be a part of our journey.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Palos Health & Fitness Center, 15430 West Avenue, Orland Park, main entrance, ground floor, Conference Rooms C and D. at 7:00 p.m. C.S.T

The MS WALK is celebrating its 25th year and the South Cook MS Self-Help Group has been part of the WALK each of these years and will continue to walk until not another person on this good earth shall ever hear that they have MS. In other words, plain and simple, we will never quit until MS is eliminated. Last year we raised over $70,000 and this year we are hoping for another good year in fundraising

MS Connection – a new community all about making meaningful connections – when, where and how you want. Visitors and members will learn about topics that are important to them, connect with people they want to connect with, have expert MS information and opinions at their fingertips, and join or start groups and discussions of their own.

Time: Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. | Walk begins at 9 a.m.

Location: 10401 W. 153 Street (Use Metra parking lot), Orland Park, IL

Route is 100% accessible.

1.4- or 3-mile route options with rest stop at halfway point.

Snacks and water will be available, but you may want to bring a bottle of water and small snack of your own.

with 52 MS support groups meeting monthly throughout northern and central Illinois, help is never far away.
