MEETS 2ND MONDAY, EVERY MONTH AT 7:30PM

As you read through the Speaker Schedule for 2010, you will notice how many doctors/researchers are coming to speak to our group. It is no accident. Research into the cause and cure for MS has exploded, and I want all of us to be able to make the best decisions in managing our MS. It is hard to put into words the value of the money raised for MS research from our own South Cook MS Self-Help Group. and the fact that we have raised well over a million dollars in our 26 years of fundraising. We raised money when a cure for MS was considered a dream. We still don't have that elusive cure, but the options for treatment are indeed expanding. Last year our WALK team raised over $61,000. We were the No. 2 WALK team in Illinois last year. No. 1 fundraiser was group member, Dana Rains, raising $6.636.
